On behalf of my fellow organisers, sponsors, competitors and spectators I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your help and assistance with the 2009 Rother Raft Race.

After a slow start with the entries we finally had 55 rafts start the race, a great result.

The race showed a clear profit of £6,360 and thanks to your help, generosity and assistance the following local charities benefited:
