Rother Raft Race is being held on Sunday 28th August 2011

Rafters & Canoeists / Kayakers to assemble on the green by the Cowdray Ruins at 10am

Canoe & Kayak Race commences at 12pm

Rother Raft Race commences at 1pm

PLEASE NOTE ENTRANTS THAT HAVE NOT PRE-REGISTERED INTO THE EVENT WILL NOT TAKE PART

Start & Finish Information:

This year is a very special one for the River Rother Raft Race as it is our 30th Birthday. To help celebrate this auspicious occasion we are creating a party atmosphere at both the start and finish of this years race. We are also opening this years event  to Canoes and Kayaks in a bid to help us raise even more money for our chosen charity Dreams Come True. On the day itself we will be pulling out the stops this year in a bid to keep entrants at the finish and join in the celebrations with us. Here are just a few of this years additions…..

 

Katie Green will be opening this years event

Food & Drink will be available at both the start and finish.

Beer tent fully stocked and loaded with goodies by our friends from Langham Brewery.

Music Tent at the finish. We have a couple of local bands helping us out this year to provide Music.

FREE soup for every entrant to the race at the finish line.

Ice Cream van for the kids (and mums and dads)

Fire pits to keep you all warm and toastie
